Our CRHS boys basketball team's season came to an end last night with a 62-56 loss in the 1A East Region I Championship. This team had a phenomenal season, ending the regular season with a 21-2 record and winning the first Bayside Boys Basketball Championship in school history! They also won the Bayside Basketball Officials Associations's annual Sportsmanship Award, which is a testimony to the character of this team. The group of boys was truly a TEAM - they worked hard, supported each other, and played unselfishly. Many of the boys have played together for years (as you can see in their CRMS boys basketball gear)! We are SO proud of them! #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

The Maryland State 1A East Region I Championship for boys basketball is tonight at CRHS! The CRMS boys basketball team will play at 3:30 PM (spectators must pay regular admission) . Congratulations to our CRHS varsity boys basketball team for their 71-54 playoff win over St. Michaels High School! Junior Ja'Zir Dickerson led the scoring with 26 points, and seniors Ma'Kiah Batson and Robbie Cunningham each added 17.

Students who are juniors and seniors next year who have at least 2.5 GPAs are eligible to take dual enrollment courses through Chesapeake College next year! This is a great opportunity to take classes for college credit in place of CRHS classes!

This weekend, we had four CRHS wrestlers qualify for the Maryland State Championships, including two Region Champions!

In coed competition, junior Evan Alexander won his second regional championship, joining his brother Austin and Jordan Gabriel as a 2-time Regional Champion! Junior Anthony Alexander finished in third place and also qualified for the State Championships.

In the girls regional championship, junior Landine Dorleans is now a regional champion! Sophomore Ashley Fleurissaint finished second in her weight class and will join Landine at the State Championships. Junior Dontah'sha McNamara finished fourth and is an alternate. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Congratulations to senior Ryleigh Hopkins for earning her license from the Maryland Board of Cosmetologists! Ryleigh completed the Careers in Cosmetology program at the Caroline Career & Technology Center and was required to complete extensive course work, practice hours, and an exam to qualify for this! #ColonelTOUGH
