The CRHS Spirit of the Revolution Marching Band and Color Guard spent most of Saturday preparing for, traveling to, warming up for, and performing in the Delmarvacade of Bands Marching Band Tournament hosted by Parkside High School at Wicomico High School. This competition, which has a long-standing tradition on the Eastern Shore of close to fifty years, is currently serving as the Maryland Marching Band Association's (MMBA) Eastern Regional Tournament. The MMBA is a relative newcomer to the world of competitive marching band, having only been started in 2021. This is CRHS' second year in MMBA competition and and only the first year for the band in the 2A size class. While CRHS has had a slow start in this competitive circuit (CRHS previously marched in Tournament of Bands until Fall 2024), the Colonels like the size class and opportunities that the MMBA circuit offers, including healthy competition right here on the shore. This year has set the stage for CRHS' next chapter in marching band excellence and next year promises to be more competitive and exciting than ever! #ColonelTOUGH

The CRHS National Art Honor Society raised over $200 on Monday with their paint night event! The money raised will support their many upcoming projects this year, including the purchase of a work of art by one of this year's current seniors! #ColonelTOUGH

The CRHS Spirit of the Revolution Marching Band and Color Guard welcomed our wonderful CRMS eighth graders to play at the CRHS-Kent County football game! 25 band students and three guard members stepped up to perform on the field and in the stands with The Spirit of the Revolution. This is a fantastic number of eighth grade students interested in marching with CRHS next year thanks in large part to the efforts of Ms. McAllister and Mr. Gwynn at CRMS. A huge thank you goes out to them and to all the eighth grade students and parents who came out and hung out with us last week! #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
