Happy School Resource Officer Appreciation Day to Cpl. Mark Hopkins from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office! Cpl. Hopkins goes above and beyond on a daily basis to not only keep our building safe, but to be a positive influence and connection to our students. We are so grateful to have him in the Colonel family! #ColonelTOUGH #NationalSchoolResourceOfficerAppreciationDay #SROsAreValuable

Dear Caroline Family:
We love scheduling posts ahead to keep you informed — but today we had a glitch 😩 The district page was fixed, but school pages briefly showed an error. We’re sorry for the confusion. Let’s celebrate Presidents Day together … in school tomorrow! 🎉📚
See you then! 💚
Michael Limpert, CRHS class of 2015, was a guest speaker in Mr. Newberry's PLTW engineering classes, sharing his knowledge about aerospace engineering! He has a bachelor's degree in physics from Salisbury University and is working as a mechanical engineer in the space systems sector of Northrop Grumman. Michael is also pursing a master's degree in space systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His work entails getting satellites tested and prepared for a safe orbit! #ColonelTOUGH

The CMC turned into breakfast central as Mrs. Knoepfel's first period class from last semester enjoyed their prize for winning the Book Genre Tournament in January! Her class wrote the best story for their genre as voted on by the Student Library Advisory Club. Students in her class and the Student Library Advisory Club feasted on pancakes, sausage, pastries, juice, and hot cocoa. Stay tuned for future contests in the CMC! #ColonelTOUGH

Caroline Family - Please mark your calendars with the following adjustments:
*Friday, February 6: Now a half day for students and a full day for staff
*Monday, February 16 (Presidents Day): Now a full day for students and staff
*Monday, March 16: Now a full day for students and staff
These adjustments were made due to the recent inclement weather days used, and in an effort to avoid extending the school year. With these changes, and if no further inclement weather days are used, the last day of school for students remains June 17, 2025 (half-day).

Congratulations to our January Students of the Month! #ColonelTOUGH
