This year's CRHS Strength & Conditioning students visited the football training facilities at Jones-Hill House at the University of Maryland! They were given a tour of the facility, then spent time in the weight room with the director of football strength and conditioning, Ryan Davis. Congratulations to senior Kaila Jenkins for being chosen as a recipient of the CCPS Education Scholarship! Kaila will be attending Chesapeake College and then transferring to Salisbury University to major in elementary education. Kaila completed our Teacher Academy of Maryland program, which included an internship at Preston Elementary School. Senior Derek Mitchell led the offense with a double and three RBIs, and seniors Kenton Robbins and Jack Walls added two RBIs each. Congratulations to our CRHS varsity boys baseball for their 10-3 win over St Michaels High School, putting them at the top of the North Bayside Conference! Junior Caleb Rouser powered the offense with three hits (including two doubles) and four RBIs. Sophomore Hayden Diefenderfer had a double with three RBIs, senior Derrick Mitchell had a double with two RBIs, and junior Jamie Mensonides had two hits with an RBI. Senior Jack Walls had a dominating performance on the mound, allowing just four hits and earning six strikeouts. Senior Kenton Robbins came in for relief. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
