Happy Thanksgiving to our CRHS family! We're thankful for our amazing students, staff, families, and community that make our school so special! #ColonelTOUGH

This week, Mrs. Smith's AP Chemistry students just wrapped up a hands-on qualitative analysis lab, where students investigated a variety of solid substances to determine the type of bonding present—ionic, covalent (polar or non polar), and metallic.
Using observations such as conductivity, solubility, and physical characteristics, students acted like true chemists—testing hypotheses, comparing data, and drawing evidence-based conclusions. It was incredible to watch them think critically, collaborate with their lab partners, and confidently justify their reasoning using chemical principles we’ve been studying in class.
Great job, AP Chem scholars! Keep bringing that energy and scientific mindset—there’s so much more to explore! #ColonelTOUGH
