Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2 to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act into law on this day in 1975 (IDEA). IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education.

Congratulations to CRHS class of 2021 graduate Owen Mank for being named University of Maryland's A. James Clark School of Engineering's most successful senior this year! This award is extra special because Owen chose to recognize his CRHS Engineering teacher, Mr. Bob Davis, as well! He's a great athlete, friend, and positive role model for those around him. Coach Jackson said TJ has heart from coming back from his surgery and returning to the team.
