Our CRHS varsity football team played a phenomenal game on Friday against Kent Island High School, losing just 38-33.  Senior quarterback Tako Hammond passed for 156 yards with 2 touchdowns.  Sophomore Ja'Zir Dickerson had 16 carries for 153 yards with  2 rushing touchdowns and 2 receptions for 92 yards with a receiving touchdown.  On defense, he had 1 interception and 6 tackles.  Senior Collin Brewer had 9 carries for 94 yards and 5 tackles.  Senior Chris Rockwell had 9 tackles, junior Cha'tydrick Pickrom had 7 tackles, and junior Bradley Thomas and senior TJ Wenger each had 6 tackles. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

In honor of National Recovery Month, the CRHS varsity girls soccer team went purple for their game against North Caroline High School!  The Caroline Goes Purple Committee was there with a table of information and resources for those who want more information on how to support individuals in need or want to help reduce the stigma and foster a more supportive environment for those affected. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Our CRHS music department is looking for some donations for an upcoming event!  They need anything fall themed - prizes, decoration, candy, Halloween costumes!  Drop off donations to the CRHS front office. #ColonelTOUGH

Mr. Luongo's Environmental Earth Science students spent the day exploring and investigating various habitats at Pickering Creek, including restored freshwater wetlands, forests, agricultural fields, meadows, and creek/shoreline.  Students used dip nets to uncover wetlands organisms, fished from the pier, and waded in the creek to sift for fish and larger aquatic life. #ColonelTOUGH










Our CRHS varsity volleyball team played a fantastic game against Easotn High School, going 4 sets!  The offense was led by junior Jazmir Jackson, and defense was led by senior Taylor Harper.  Sophomores Ella Downie and Selina Austinville both had some really good blocks at the net as well. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Senior Morgan Demir had a hat trick, and junior Jack Walls and sophomore Caleb Rouser each had a goal.
