Congratulations to CRHS senior Anabel Munguia Matamoros for being chosen for a MELLFIN (Maryland ELL Family Involvement Network) Scholarship this year! The MELLFIN Scholarships are annual scholarship awards for current or former ESOL students in Maryland who are currently seniors in high school and have demonstrated a commitment to attend college or a post-secondary career training program. She was presented the scholarship at the annual MELLFIN Conference.
Anabel was the only student from the Eastern Shore to receive this scholarship! She plans to attend Chesapeake College to become a nurse and provide compassionate care to the elderly. #ColonelTOUGH #classof2025

Congratulations to the CRHS varsity girls softball team for their 9-6 win over St Michaels High School! Junior Hannah Kefavuer earned the win on the mound. Senior Kylie Rhinehardt went 2-3 with two RBIs and a double. Kefavuer added two hits and a crucial sacrifice bunt. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Seniors Cameron Todd and TJ Wenger, junior Derrick Mitchell, and sophomore John Beaven each had a hit with Todd and Mitchell earning RBIs. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

The junior class of the CRHS National Honor Society hosted a Food Drive for blessing box food pantries in our area. Almost 200 food items were donated! Students were able to stock eight different pantries for over 3 weeks! #ColonelTOUGH

Congratulations to senior Takaila Rich for being chosen as a recipient of the CCPS Education Scholarship! Takaila will be attending Morgan State University to major in elementary education. Ms. Kay (as she's called by her students) plans to return to Caroline County Public Schools to teach grades 3-5! Thank you to Ms. McNeil for being her mentor! #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown
